CHOPPY
 Bank of America, Jacksonville, FL

Choppy was created specifically for the Bank of America lobby wall as a series of 10 drawings that can be viewed individually or together as a depiction of the St. Johns River. This visual metaphor reflects the turbulent sea of life—isolated events forming a unified experience. The process of making art, like water, is fluid and continuous. Each line, mark, and color is applied in response to the last, demonstrating how artists can intuitively record their environment by responding to the cause and effect of every action.

SURROUNDINGS
Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts at Florida State College Jacksonville
This body of work reflects a deeply personal exploration of Florida’s shifting neighborhoods and landscapes, created over two years while caring for my father. Through changes in scale and material, I trace the delicate act of remembering—moments like watching the moon through a telescope on our quiet suburban street, its light a small reminder of connection and continuity. On frequent drives to and from the hospital, I witnessed the land transforming—forests burning, smoke lifting into pale skies as new developments emerged from cleared ground. These scenes of loss and renewal became a meditation on time, impermanence, and the human imprint upon place. The resulting drawings, paintings, and mixed-media constructions gather fragments of light, sound, and motion—echoes of the spaces between memory and change. The exhibition included an artist lecture and also served as the setting for Vincent, a one-man performance presented by Lumen Repertory Theatre.

IN-FLIGHT SERIES
Haskell Gallery, Jacksonville International Airport

A site-specific installation that reimagines the airport experience through the eyes of a traveler—moving through security lines, navigating concourses, waiting at terminal gates, and watching the landscape shift from cabin windows en route to a final destination. This body of work captures the drama and rhythm of travel through bold, synthetic color and abstracted form. Architectural elements and everyday objects dissolve into geometric shapes, while meandering lines trace the flow of passengers and flight paths. Manipulated perspectives evoke the sensation of aerial views, refracting the moment of descent toward the runway and the anticipation of arrival.
